Position: Java Developer -
Front-End Applications
Location: San Jose, CA
Duration: 6+ months
Direct client
Experience: 7-8
years.
· Experience
with front-end web development using HTML5/CSS3
· Experience
with integrating front-end with multiple back-end services & systems, and
working in highly distributed & modular applications.
· Strong
expertise in AJAX, Javascript (Angular.js, node.js)
· Experience
with databases, SQL development & troubleshooting performance-related
issues
· Experience
with automated testing is a plus.
· Critical
thinking and excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Strong
problem-solving and analytical abilities
Required Skills
· Bachelor's
degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
· Strong
object-oriented programming and design experience, including Java.
· Top notch experience
with relational database systems and SQL.
· Practical
experience providing and consuming RESTful web services, SOAP,
XML-RPC, and JSON.
· Familiarity
with build tools such as Ant or Maven.
· Familiarity
with JUNIT and Mocking Framework
· Familiarity
with JENKINS CI and SONAR
· Familiarity
with version control systems such as Subversion or CVS.
· Experience
with NoSQL/BigData solutions is a plus.
· Experience
with HTML/HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript is a
plus.
