L3 Support Engineer
*Ability to work independently, as
the position only receives minimal supervision with no instruction on routine
work and general instruction on new assignments.
*Typically interfaces with L1/L2
Support Engineers, Product Managers and internal engineering team.
*Responsible to work with L4 support
engineers to find the root cause and the resolution.
*P1/P2 application support (24X7)
* Problem &
Incident management
Skill Set Required:
· Strong background in
J2EE/Java, Web, databases(oracle 10g and above) and Large scale applications.
· Minimum 3 years of
post production application/on call support dealing with internal/external
customers/users.
· Minimum 3-5 years of
development experience with Java/J2EE and XML based products.
· Minimum 3 years of
experience with Object-oriented Software Development Methodologies.
· Experience in working
with ticketing/case creation/escalation tools.
Experience
with Network Technologies (preferred Cisco device knowledge).
· Understanding of
Networking protocols such as HTTP, HTTPS, TCP/IP, SNMP, Telnet, and SSH
technologies
· Webserver
& Application server knowledge
· Good
understanding of Network Management System architectures
· Proficient
in verbal & written communication skills
· Excellent
Customer handling skills
