Details:
In this position, you will be responsible for design, development and maintenance of a suite of flash memory controller firmware tests, including developing detailed test plans, diagnostic harnesses and automated tests scripts using Python. You will also be responsible for analyzing test results, initial failure analysis, and reporting results. You will liaise with the firmware development group to identify requirements for the new tests and software test platform.

This position requires a degree or equivalent in computer science or engineering with 5+ years of experience.

Test design experience with knowledge of testing methodologies is required. Strong scripting skills are also required. The candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. C/C++ and Python knowledge are a plus. Prior developer experience is a plus. Knowledge of data storage devices is recommended. Knowledge of hardware architectures with embedded CPU is also a plus.

The ideal individual must have an interest to find faults and a proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment. Self-motivated and self-directed, however, the candidate must have demonstrated an ability to work well with people. A proven desire to work as a team member, both on the same team and outside of the team. Ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex problems. Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
