Plug-in EV Cars is the future of transportation. We have a
unique opportunity for the right software product engineer to help build this
future through innovative software that runs and operates the charging stations
built by one of the best known and trusted brands on earth. In this role you
will be leading the development and evolution of the software backbone that
operates the charging network, making it easy for end customers to use the
charge points through web/mobile interfaces. Enabling system owner/operators to
better manage and maintain the networks. This is a rare opportunity to be part
of a transformation time in personal transportation, your software will be a
major part of this evolution.
This is a hands-on software developer role working on an Agile
team made up of 5-9 members including Software Engineers, Quality Engineers,
User Interaction Designers, UI Developers, Software Architects, Business
Analyst and Product Owner. It is a challenging, fast pace and creative
environment.
Previous experience in the EV industry
10x Programmer
Strong knowledge of OOD, software design patterns and
principles
Strong knowledge of J2EE
Strong JPA, JTA, JMS and Spring framework
Knowledge of SOA based development and Cloud computing
Strong Web Service, XML technologies (SOAP, JAXB, WSDL, XML)
Strong knowledge JUnit and Test Driven Development practices
Experience with Oracle SQL
Strong problem solving abilities
Experience working with Agile software development methodologies
(Scrum, XP)
Able to work under minimal supervision
Encourages input from all members of the team
High energy, results driven person with strong interpersonal
skills
Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with
more senior co-workers and leadership with confidence and clarity
