Business Analyst: Mobile Phone Applications (1)

Job Requirements:
Expectations:
• Identify, analyze, define, and document detailed requirements to support mobile application
projects and their associated business objectives
• Familiarity with Apples iOS SDK , device API’s and development tools including Objective C,
XCode, and Cocoa Touch
• Familiarity with HTML5, SOA , Web Services methodologies using REST or SOAP based APIs
• Leverage knowledge of mobile application features and functions to assess scope and impact
on business needs
• Collaborate with user experience, business groups, outsourced development team, project
management, and executive management teams throughout the project lifecycle
• Participate in the analysis and definition of efficient, cost effective solutions
• Provide product expertise to client groups, acting as a resource in understanding how mobile
applications perform business and user functions
• Participate in QA testing; identify requirement gaps and resolutions
• Recognizes process or programming inefficiencies, and recommends improvements
• Works with line of business to understand end-users' and external customers' requirements to
be included in system design
• Documents the new applications, or the changes made to existing applications
• Frequently communicates with internal customers, end-users and managers on project
progress and issue resolution
• Able to work on compressed schedules in highly iterative environment to meet demand
• Able to proficiently engage in conversations and meetings with line of business representatives
when needed
Qualifications:
• A minimum of 2 years of Business Analysis experience
• 2-4 years of application development experience
• Leadership: takes initiative and sees project tasks through successful completion
• Overall knowledge of software development
• Experience in mobile application development required
• General understanding of user interfaces and how they affect application design
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Detail oriented
• Ability to effectively convey technical information to end users
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, in a fast-paced environment and to adapt
to changing tasks
• Must be able to work independently and be a valuable contributor in a geographically
dispersed team
• Proactive and creative in managing issues and opportunities
• Desire to be on the cutting edge, to learn and introduce emerging technologies
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field
