Primary Responsibilities:

Responsible for ensuring that your teams deliver high quality, high performance, and scalable software on schedule
Partner effectively with IT, QA, Product Management, Customer Support and Operations teams.
Balance mentoring individuals on the team, leading scrum processes, and occasionally contributing to the software code base. Must have a passion for agile operations, software security and new technology development.

Desired Skills and Experience:

Minimum of a BA/BS degree (MS Preferred) in Computer Science or related field with at least 3 years of management and 5 years of development experience.
Experience in managing a development team of ~10 senior and junior level developers spread across two cross-functional Agile teams with some remote employees.
Must have working knowledge of web application development: HTTP/S, HTML/CSS, JS (json, jquery, backbone, bootstrap), AJAX, SQL, and databases.
Experience in developing enterprise software in a fast paced scrum environment, experience with continuous delivery to a SaaS a plus.
Experience in building RESTful APIs, web services, and tools.
Experience in working collaboratively with product management to deliver features and functionality on time with superior quality.
Must have expertise in at least 2 major languages and platforms such as Ruby on Rails, Perl, Java, C/C++, C#, or Python
Prefer experience with Linux, VMware, JIRA, git/SVN, Apache, PostgresSQL, Python Django.
Experience in web crawling technology, web application security, OWASP, etc. is a plus.
