Position-IT Analyst
Contract-4+ years
Location-santa clara-CA-USA
Job Duties
Under the supervision of a manager, performs the following duties –
• Project manage/coordinate internal technical efforts and initiatives of minor to medium level complexity.
• Authors or interprets functional and system requirements, designs, builds, tests, implements, maintains and enhances web portals and systems.
• Develops and implements comprehensive system test plans to ensure that systems and programs are tested and debugged.
• Analyzes, detects, identifies and helps in correcting technical problems.
• Helps with analysis and coordination of critical production support and enhancement issues.
• Assists and trains internal customers and technical team members.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field with >= 4 years’ experience as an IT Analyst.
• At least 2 years’ experience in web site and portal application development and delivery projects in customer support, sales or marketing functional areas.
• Hands on experience or good knowledge in Java and related technologies.
• Good at interpreting non-functional requirements related to UI, localization, performance and security.
• Experience with authoring system specifications, design and test documents.
• Very good communication, coordination and collaboration skills.
• Experience in all phases of SDLC.
Desired Skills
• Knowledge of ADF and Oracle WebCenter.
• Knowledge of Oracle Knowledge Management (Inquira).
• Knowledge of Autonomy IDOL or any other Search tool.
