Job Description

The SCM team supports over 50 software developers. This team is required to support and remediate any SCM, Clearcase,

Clearquest and Linux/Unix related issues that the software development group may be experiencing with.

Other responsibilities include:

•             Maintenance for a large Clearcase/Clearquest multisite infrastructure primarily on Unix.

•             Training in-house personnel on Linux, Unix, Clearcase and scripting languages.

•             Creation of new scripting and tooling for Linux, Unix and Clearcase support.

•             System upgrades for scripting and tools

•             Maintenance and support for existing system-wide scripting and tools.

•             Occasional off-hours support as required for the above tasks.

Skills and Experience

Required:

•             Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

•             Minimum 7 years Clearcase/Clearquest on Unix administration experience including Clearcase Multisite administration experience.

•             Unix Administration. Minimum 7 years Unix system administration experience, preferably on Solaris.

•             Minimum 5 years Perl or Python scripting experience.

•             Shell scripting experience.

•             Experience with Linux system administration

Preferred:

•             Knowledge of Solaris Jumpstart

•             Experience with GIT or similar source control system

•             Experience with C/C++ programming

Education

BA or BS degree or equivalent work experience.
