Role	JAVA WebMethods Architect
Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills	4 years work experience as Architect/Solution Designer >= 5 years webMethods (WM) 7 or greater plus minimum of 6 years of EAI experience Broad knowledge of WM components such as of IS, Broker, BPM, MWS and Deployer Blaze rule development & integration in webMethods, Experience with JDBC and MQ adapters Core Java 6 or above, JDBC Web Services, WSDL, SOAP Working knowledge of SQL, FTP, XML, XSD and Unix
Roles and responsibility	Produce Integration Architectures and designs that are in compliance with an overall solution architecture/design. Work with a team of technical resources to derive the most appropriate technical solution for a given requirement. Liaise with Project Management teams to ensure delivery of an overall solution, in line with project constraints. Own a technical solution from inception to delivery, ensuring that the solution meets all deliverables Work closely with project managers for architectural/solution implementation & with partner architects to ensure architectural alignment Drive continuous improvement of architecture & solution to cope up with business growth Manages architecture-related communication between IT Services and business partner/umbrella architecture teams Responsible for managing the priorities, assignments, practices and objectives of the project team reporting to him/her (project matrix reporting) Defines architecture guidelines. Reviews and provides consulting to projects on IT architecture topics, particularly around IBB integration Advice on technical aspects of system development and integration (including requests for changes, deviations from specifications, etc.) and ensure that relevant technical strategies, policies, standards and practices are applied correctly. Evaluate and undertake impact analysis on major design options and assesses and manages associated risks.
