Virtualization Engineer

Sr. Virtualization
Engineer (VMWare) with at least four years of experience. Candidates will be
providing operational support, focusing on server and backup infrastructure
operations. You will be supporting server hardware, virtualization, firmware /
driver maintenance, provisioning, disaster recovery activities, and process
automation. You will also need to be able to translate business requirements
into platform architectures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Management
Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 4+ years’ experience
with enterprise server support and administration responsibilities.
- Must have expert knowledge of
VMware’s vCenter Server, vCloud Director, ESX 5.x, vCloud Suite,
Converter, Site Recovery Manager (SRM), and vCenter Operations (vCOPs). In
addition, must have experience implementing server environments on VMware.
- Must have knowledge and
experience with Linux operating systems.
- Must be familiar with
enterprise backup system support and administration responsibilities.
