Position: BI Consultant
Location: Durham, NC
Duration – 4 to 6 months
The selected resource will be involved in a BI Effort to support the
business and partner with the IT applications implementation team to ensure
quality delivery of BI Solution. The resource will be responsible for Design,
Implementation & Management of the integrated security for
BI applications. Additionally the candidate will work with the business
managers across the organization to define, plan and develop further BI /
reporting capabilities and collaborate with business owners to successfully
implement and maintain an enterprise level business
analytics anddata warehousing solution. The candidate will
develop front-end, metadata and ETL specification to support business
requirements for reporting across the organization and manage and ensure
project delivery; as well as be responsible for the application maintenance of
both Production and Non-Production environments. Furthermore the candidate will
troubleshoot production issues, identifying root causes, plan remediation,
develop reporting standards and best practices to ensure data standardization
and consistency and perform data cleansing and data auditing as necessary to
ensure data quality.
Requirements:
· OBI
Lead with over 9 years of experience in implementation of Business Intelligence
/ Data Warehouse applications for fortune 500 clients.
· Expertise
in OBIEE, OBIA and Security & integration between BI
application and Oracle EBS Applications
· Ability
to work with the business in Requirements Gathering
· Hands-on
experience in installation & administration of OBIEE components on
various platforms (AIX/Windows)
· Experience
in implementation of various OBIA such as Sales/Service/Marketing Analytics, Financial
Analytics, HR Analytics, Projects Analytics and Order management
& Supply Chain Analytics
· Experience
in various implementation methodologies (Waterfall & Agile)
· Experience
in development & maintenance of Data warehouse/Business Intelligence,
performing solid GAP analysis for OBIA implementations to best use Out of the
Box content
· Has
worked extensively on modeling Hierarchies/Level Based Measures, Design &
Development of ETL Mappings in Informatica, OBIEE & OBIA
7.9.6.1 Implementations on Teradata, architecting OBI solution
for High Availability, configuring Clusters/SSO/integration
Experience with Informatica and DAC
