Job Title: Senior Hybris Commerce Administrator
Employment Type: Full-time
Location: Remote



Role Description:
Sr. Hybris Commerce Administrator must have extensive product knowledge including installation, configuration, tuning and maintenance of e-commerce sites using the Hybris Multi Channel E-commerce platform. This administration professional has an in depth awareness of the product components, the capabilities of the components, as well as the configurations and architecture of production and staging systems.
Responsibilities and technical skills required include the following:
·         Architects commerce solutions

·         Develops commerce infrastructure strategies for scalability on demand and stability with a goal of near zero downtime

·         Includes hybris Cluster configuration and operations

·         Performs installation of all components of the hybris platform

·         Performance tuning and monitoring of application server

·         Experience installing and configuring Solr

·         Maintains environments by applying necessary updates

·         Installs and configures database applications

·         Must be able to create and execute complex sql statements

·         Experience with use of hybris Admin console, including but not limited to:

·         o System initialize / update process

·         Import / Export Console use (running scripts from console)

·         Altering / Adding Configuration properties

·         Familiarity with Flexible Search queries a plus

·         Experience with the hybris HMC

·         o Configuration, management and execution of CronJobs

·         Solr index (“Facet Search”) builds

·         Catalogs management tooling – catalog synchronization, catalog version diff, duplicate identifiers tool

·         General familiarity with using the hmc to search and view data to troubleshoot issues a plus

·         Exposure to the use of the hybris Product, CMS, Admin Cockpits to troubleshoot issues a plus

·         Understanding of apache server configuration

·         Experience with database systems including Oracle and MySQL

·         Strong troubleshooting skills and should be able to analyze java cores, heaps dumps and all logs to determine root cause of issues

·         Strong understanding of tracing facilities and be able to use them to isolate issues,

·         Strong scripting skills

·         Stays abreast of emerging software enhancements / bug fixes

·         Understanding on network technologies

·         Familiarity with cloud computing concepts

Desired Skills:
·         Understanding of Automation Tools

·         Understanding of source control applications

·         Familiarity with Amazon S3 cloud based offerings

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, computer engineering or similar discipline required
