Job Details
Client is looking for a UI developer who can set up their
own Data Visualization tool to generate reports & create dashboards.
Client is using Salesforce.com to generate reports which is
not giving expected results.
Looking for developer with experience in any of the data
visualization tools (OBIEE, MSTR, Qlikview, Spotfire, Cognos, SAP BO, HTML5,
tableau etc).
If the guy worked on UI with HTML 5 who can modify SDK or
JDK will be a close match.

Responsibilities –
Deep mastery of Data Warehousing – Candidate must
have a mastery of a wide range of data warehouse technologies including ETL,
data modeling, and reporting/OLAP.
· Mastery
in Reporting/Analytics tools Business Object (BOBJ) including Design,
Development and Administration functions. Data Visualization Tool (e.g. Tableau
& Qlikview) and Hands on Experience with Scripting language like Python,
Shell, JavaScript. Experience with HTML5 required.
· Design
and develop data mart that will enable us to bring data from disparate
sources, aggregate it and make it available for reporting and analytics.
The architecture should account for large data volumes and allow flexible data
provisioning for analytical applications.
· Review
design/functional specifications and develop/Execute detailed test plans;
· Support
ongoing business performance & trends analyses as required to inform
management decisions.
· Work
cross-functionally to establish reporting & decision-making standards.
· Work
in close cooperation with product owners, developers and release
engineers.
Required Skills and Experience:
· 8-10
years of experience in Business intelligence
· Familiarity
with traditional BI and discovery tools (OBIEE, Business Objects, Cognos,
MicroStrategy, Tableau, Qlik etc.)
Strong skillset in front end development (JQuery, JavaScript, CoffeeScript)
Strong skillset in front end development (JQuery, JavaScript, CoffeeScript)
· Expert
to Mid level Knowledge of any scripting or programming languages, such as
Python, Perl, Linux shell or Java.
· Hands-on
experience with shell scripting, Python or Java
· Hands-on
experience in analyzing data, identifying trends and building visualizations
· Experience
with data modeling, logical schema design and data warehouse concepts including
techniques for handling semi-structured and unstructured data
· A
particular desire to continually study new technologies and functionality, as
well as be involved in projects that push the capabilities of existing
technologies.
· Experience
with Business Objects Enterprise XI R2 and Business Objects Enterprise 4.0, BO
Designer and Web Intelligence.
· Strong
communication skills, both written and verbal. Able to effectively
develop materials that are appropriate for the audience and evangelize best
practices.
· Strong
presentation skills. Able to effectively present and defend point of view
to a variety of audiences.
· Ability
to work independently and be a self-starter. .
· Worked
on MPP platform Like Hadoop (PIG, Hive) a plus
· Experience
Developing with Informatica or any other ETL tool a plus.
· Experience
working with Oracle database 9i/10g;
· Excellent
communication skills, both verbal and written, outstanding attention to detail;
· Ability
to work in an Agile/Scrum environment on multiple projects against aggressive
deadlines;
· Excellent
time management skills
