Required Skills:-

·         Many years of expertise in the following areas: Data conversion - Strong script writing - Installation, configuration, and tuning of software packages

·         Database and data administration (oracle certified DBA 8i & 9i), Batch stream (configure, monitor, tune & adapt), Test strategy planning

·         Planning, installing & managing project environments - Cutover planning and execution - General IT troubleshooting.  

·         Oracle Customer Care and Billing Technical Expert Database and data administration (Oracle certified DBA 8i & 9i)

·         General performance troubleshooting Data administrator and database administration

·         Strong Unix background (admin & scripting skills) Solutions Architecture Deployment and cutover planning & implementation Installation, configuration, and tuning of software packages Data conversion, performance tuning, strong script writing Batch stream (configure, monitor, tune & adapt) Application design  

Job Responsibilities:-

·         Responsible for maintaining and supporting Oracle CC&B Customer Care and Billing system. Planned, Installed, Configured and Maintained multiple AIX WebSphere CC&B environments.

·         Knowledge of Threadpool worker, UC4 job scheduling.

·         Network Deployment instances of Oracle Customer Care and Billing running on IBM Applications Installed and supported IBM HTTP Server, Microfocus COBOL 3.1, UC4 Scheduler, WebSphere Portal. Also responsible for deployment of CC&B code in Test/Production environments, Data Conversion tuning and support, Configuration migration process, and Source control process (SVN).

·         Responsible for the Deployment Strategy plan and Deployment & Cutover plan.  

·         Technical support to End to End diagnostics architecture design.

·         Managing SVN for CC&B java/Cobol environments Batch modeling, performance and tuning, design & development of tool for regression testing,network/infrastructure/operational assessment, Maintaining VB scripts, batch load simulation, job schedule analysis, Contacting and coordinating with Oracle support for any upgrades and patch installations.

·         Responsible for Install, configuration, tuning, backup & recovery, of CC&B application
