Primary Skills:

Description:
Roles and Responsibility:
• Expert configuring Solution Manager 7.1 monitoring and Alerting with ABAP and Java systems
• Knowledge of Technical infrastructure, networking and system operations
• Experience with SAP Solution Manager monitoring SAP systems on MSSQL database
• Experience with SAP on Windows operating systems
• Strong configuration and customization experience with Solution Manager v7.1
• Monitoring, Root Cause Analysis, and Technical Administration
• Ability to work independently and keep management adequately informed
• Performance tuning
• Demonstrated ability to work in matrix team environments, including strong stakeholder interface capability
• Analyze application stability and take action accordingly
• Identify design gaps and propose solutions
Additional roles and responsibilities:
• ChaRM & Service Desk implementation experience is preferred
• Ability to work with Work Centers
• Configuring and using Solution Manager Root Cause Analysis
• Monitoring, Root Cause Analysis, and Technical Administration
• Business Process Monitoring and Job Management
• Knowledge of the STMS, ChaRM, Incident Management
• Strong ABAP & Java stack administration skills
• Knowledge of Project documentation in SolMan
• Solution Documentation process Knowledge.
• Full Life-Cycle implementation and upgrade projects experience is advantageous
Required Technical Skills:
• SAP Solution Manager Consultant with experience in SOLMAN 7.1 version
• SOLMAN experience on Win / SQL Server Platform.
• 5+ years of experience in Solution Manager (including v7.1) setup/usage and SAP Basis Administration
• Experience Required:6 - 8 years (SAP SolMAN Certified preferred)
• E2E Monitoring setup for SAP systems
• Ability to fully implement functionality required for the successful rollout of Solution Manager Processes and functionality as per standard SAP requirements
• Change Request Management (ChaRM) Implementation experience
• Business Process & Technical Monitoring
• Testing Management - HP Quality Center & SAP
• Incident Management - SAP to Support Tool (ServiceNow)
• Experience in version upgrades and support pack upgrades
• Detailed knowledge of SAP Solution Manager, Setup of Solution Manager 7.1
• Recommended use of Solution Manager in the implementation of an SAP project
• Integration of Solution Manager with other related SAP products
• Project and Program planning
• Knowledge of project delivery methodologies
