Role:Senior Java Developer with Test-Driven Development (TDD) experience
Duration: Contract-6+Months
Location: Indianapolis, IN


Interviewing Process:
v  HR long coding exercise
v  20 min brief phone interview
v  Final Phone or Skype interview
  • This Java web service developer position is both hands-on coding and mentoring role from the architecture team. 
  • One of the MUST HAVE skill for us is the Test-Driven Development (TDD) experience. 
  • Must have experience in TDD and be able to start with TDD right the way. 
  • We're NOT looking for candidate only have experience writing JUnit but the whole TDD process.
REQUIRED:
The successful candidate needs to be specialized or have had success in SOA - specifically:
·         API design/development
·         knowledge about what makes a good interface to a service
·         Ability to transform a product idea to a service API and services
·         Knowledge about service security best practices
·         Performance testing and analysis
·         Creating web services that will handle large (and growing) traffic demands
·         Mentoring less senior developers to craft the highest quality systems
What we would like from you:
 
·         Experience in test driven development process
·         Attention to detail in defining clear and consistent APIs to access these services
·         Willingness to learn new languages and techniques to solve challenging problems
·         Demonstrated leadership and implementation experience of crafting enterprise web services and defining their APIs
·         Exceptional software development skills with Java
·         Solid understanding of object oriented programming concepts and patterns
·         Strong understanding of relational databases and the ability to interpret and create sophisticated SQL queries
