Software Test Engineer - Performance & Scalability 

1. Test Design & Execution Skills – Design and execute performance tests with an understanding of functional and non-functional requirements to provide high value, high accuracy results

2. Hardware Knowledge – Good understanding of concepts of latency, memory and CPU utilization, multi-threading, cache, memory management

3. Ability to understand complex system architectures and come up with creative solutions to performance problems

4. Working knowledge of SQL

5. Strong understanding of modern databases system architecture 

6. Strong knowledge of one or more programming languages (e.g. Python, Perl, ABAP, Java, C++)

7. Strong knowledge of Windows, MacOS and *nix based operating systems

8. No Special Tool knowledge required - LoadRunner or other Open Source Tools is nice to have

9. Applications of the size such as Merlin / Radar are some reference points

10. Analysis, Risk assessment, Test Execution, Test data Generation, SQL Tuning Experience 

11. 6+ years of experience including at least of 2+ years of Performance Testing
