ECSI-6329-Cloud test automation Engineer-Contract-6 Months-San Ramon CA-JB

Title: Cloud test automation Engineer

Location: San Ramon CA

Contract: 6-9 Months

Familiar with Big Data experience with technologies. Prior experience strong experience doing data validation in the RDMS world in systems as in data marts. Experience in scripting with test cases.

Responsibilities

* Be responsible for the quality, test plans and testing methodology for multiple projects.

* Contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of an automation test framework.

* Develop and execute maintainable automation tests for acceptance, functional, and regression test cases.

* Experience in performing White, Grey, and Black Box testing.

* Design, develop, execute and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium/Protector/Cucumber.

* Work closely with fellow team members to diagnose bugs and formulate solutions.

Desired Characteristics

* At least 3 years QA or development experience with a working knowledge of testing methodologies, automation tools and best practices

* Excellent communication and analytic skills

* Experience in Big Data, OSGI , Spring, XML, SQL, Oracle, Hadoop, Hive, MapReduce and Shell scripting

* Analyze design requirements to develop and implement Test Automation Architecture and framework

* Must be able to work closely with Development, Product Management, Design, Support, and other key stakeholders

* Experience in Agile best practices

* Familiarity or experience with any popular development and open source tools for source control, build management, continuous integration like Maven, Bamboo, SVN, etc

* Experience in SCM tools (preferably Git, GitHub) and PM/defect tracking tools such as JIRA.

* Experience in Linux/Unix and windows environment

* Energetic and self-motivated with the ability to quickly embrace and understand new technologies

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities:

           Design and Develop complex UI solutions using Javascript MV framework

·         Create, develop and document new custom libraries .

·         Work with other business and development teams when required for testing and issue resolution. 

Mandatory Skills:

Required Skills

·        

         5+ years front-end development experience in a rapid release environment

·         Experience developing niche UI on Javascript MVC framework

·         Advance knowledge on JQuery,CSS2/3 and HTML4/5

·         Angular JS or BackBone JS or React JS with experience on Jquery, HTML , JSON and CSS

·         Experience on Javascript dependency management, Performance & Debugging

·         Fluency speaking JSON via AJAX
