Job Description

SR. QA AUTOMATION ENGINEER

Duration: 6 month contract in SF

Position Summary:

-The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing comprehensive back end API level

-QA automation tests with Python open source test automation software, a knack for knowing how to break things, and has a structured approach to developing test plans.

-The emphasis of this position is a hands-on Python QA automation guru.

-Define QA processes and methodologies and enforce them within the team.

-Define and implement end to end product test strategy.

-Work on every aspect of automated testing that includes unit tests, API/functional tests, UI/Integration tests.

-Develop in-house automation frameworks/tools and/or bring in open source tools and technologies to solve automation problems.

-6+ years proven record developing comprehensive QA automation tests using Python or Java

-Hands on API level automation testing experience leveraging Python Open Source Test automation frameworks (UnitTest, PyUnit, Nose)

-Experience with UI and load Test Automation frameworks (Selenium, Robot, Watir, Grinder)

-Experience constructing test plans and executing against these plans across functional, regression, unit, system, performance, stress, and load testing

-Solid understanding of SQL and experience doing data quality testing with large data sets

-Very comfortable working in Unix command line and testing under Linux SCRUM / Agile development practices

-Knowledge of the Facebook APIs (Open Graph, Ads)

-Experience testing Display Advertising or behavioral targeting solutions with large data sets

-Experience with NoSQL technologies (MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra, Hadoop, Hive, HBase)
