Description:
Release Engineering Lead: 6 month contract, Mountain View· Strong Release Engineering domain expertise. Ability to quickly understand current build system and processes, recognize weaknesses, provide vision for a scalable system, and provide guidance to team to deliver.
· Strong ability to be hands on to help team deliver against objectives.
· Strong experience with scripting languages such as Python/Django (preferred), Ruby/Rails, Perl, Java, PHP, etc., and with build oriented languages such as Ant and Make.
· Experience with implementation and administration of build automation tools such as Buildbot (preferred), Jenkins/Hudson, etc.
Familiarity with maintaining and configuring distributed Source Code Management systems - Mercurial preferred.
