Responsibilities
include all of the following:
· Architecting,
Designing and Implementing enterprise applications using Java, WebSphere,
Oracle and Open Source software and tools; content delivery platforms and applications
using CMS/WCM specific products or using third-party Portal Servers or other
application servers, that integrate with back-end / third-party content
repositories/databases to support transactional and content driven applications
· Leading
and support the end-to-end project delivery lifecycle through technology
architecture to design to construction to Production rollout for large business
organizations and high- volume/ high-traffic web sites/applications deployed on
the Intranet and Internet
· Will
be responsible for providing the maintenance support by resolving the issues
assigned
· Will
be responsible for root cause analysis, remediation, documentation and testing
for the issues assigned
· Coordinate
and support the end-to-end project delivery by participating in development of
software using global delivery model
· Interface
with client to document requirements using Agile methods and co-ordinate with
offshore development team
· Establish
continuous integration and test driven development infrastructure and practices
in support of agile delivery
REQUIRED
SKILLS:
· Minimum
8 years of IT Experience (8+ Open Source/Java)
· Bachelor
degree
· Expertise
with Web Architectures, LAMP, J2EE/JEE Architecture, J2EE Design Pattern and
J2EE Best Practices, and the latest J2EE Specifications
· Expertise
with build systems, Spring Framework, Web Content Management Systems, Apache,
ORM tools, version control systems, portals, single-sign-on, SOA based
solutions
· Expertise
in modeling and designing web solutions architecture using Java and Open Source
technologies and ability to communicate its intricacies to technical as well as
business audiences and a willingness to learn new technologies when needed
· Expertise
in requirements analysis and requirements gathering workshops and documenting
software requirements specifications, designs and prototype solutions using
Java and Open Source technologies
· Past
projects should range from full lifecycle, enterprise-level,
commercial-software development to architecture design and coding using Java
and Open Source technologies
· Must
be able to translate business needs into effective technical solutions using
core java and Open Source Technologies
· Must
have excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, as the
position requires a team player who is willing and able to work with and
support business users
· Excellent
communicator who has experience presenting to a wide range of audiences
· Support
the technical needs of existing customers including discovering additional use
cases for CEI solutions
· Work
closely with the offshore development team to ensure successful delivery
Expertise
with the following J2EE Related Technologies are required:
1. Tomcat,
JBoss, WebSphere, WebLogic, Eclipse, Unix/Linux, Oracle 9i or latest, EJB ,
JMS, JSP, JSF, Servlets, JDBC, XML
2.
Frameworks such as MVC, Struts, Spring, JSF, Ajax
3. OOA/D,
UML Diagrams
4.
Methodologies: Agile, Scrum, RUP-Rational Unified Process, Waterfall, XP-
Extreme, etc.
5.
Experience with continuous integration, Test Driven Development and
establishing infrastructure to support continuous integration
6.
Experience with re-architecting and migrating existing solutions to modern
architectures
NICE TO
HAVE SKILLS:
· Certification
in Java/J2EE, WebSphere, WebLogic, and Oracle
· Experience
with Amazon Web Services and Amazon Cloud
· Master’s
Degree in Computer Science
