General
Summary
The ideal candidate should have hands on, in depth
technical implementation knowledge in developing enterprise J2EE applications
and absolutely comfortable in converting architecture designs, process models
to actual implementation.
Responsibilities
•Responsible for writing application code and development activities for several
large projects especially in a SOA environment with Mule ESB.
•Deliver quality code and exhibit expertise in analysis, development & unit
testing in a complex application environment, leveraging resources within and
outside the team as necessary
•Develop repeatable JUnit and integration tests and improve code
quality
•Develops, maintains, and communicates processes and standard practices related
to the design, development, and implementation of application solutions and
patterns.
•Fosters and encourages solution reuse within Business Units and at the
Enterprise level.
•Facilitates and enables the integration of applications and business processes
using common methods in managing several projects.
•Analyzes and estimates feasibility, time, and resources needed to develop, and
implement application systems for several projects.
•Maintain a focus on quality, attention to detail, communication and delivery
to tight timescales.
•Mentor and ensure quality deliverables from Junior developers
Qualifications
•Bachelor’s Degree and at least 8 years of experience in IT.
•At least 5 years of experience working hands on developing J2EE
enterprise applications
•At least 2 years of experience with design and development of distributed
systems that involved ESB, synchronous and asynchronous communication with
rules based implementation
•Hands on experience with projects built on Service Oriented
Architecture principles ( SOA) .
•Hands on experience with Mule enterprise service bus.
•Demonstrated experience with J2EE technologies, messaging,
object-oriented programming concepts, and multi-tiered distributed applications
•Experience developing SOAP WSDL Web Services and REST services
•Experience with J2EE Framework and any ORM such as Hibernate, Toplink,
JPA
•Database experience such as Oracle, My SQL and JDBC. Strong XML
processing experience such as XSD, XPath, XSL, XSLT, etc.
•Exposure with WS-Security, SAML, OAuth2.0 is a plus
•Use of OOAD & UML in a highly collaborative environment is a
plus
•Experience developing solutions for Retail Industry is a plus
•Experience working with large scale IT system is a plus
